Antico Doccia Royal Blue

Royal Blue - early modellers at the Doccia factory near Florence were inspired by ancient pewter plates, in creating the most loved porcelain shape, dating back to the 1760s.  The Lily flower, being the official emblem of the city of Florence, lives in the inspiration behind the pattern Royal Blue dating from 1830.



ロイヤルブルー　　1760年台、フレンツェ近郊にあるドッキアファクトリーにて、人々にもっとも愛される白磁を作ろうと試行錯誤されるなか、古代のピューター（錫と鉛などの合金）からインスピレーションを得たことがきっかけで生まれました。

ゆりの花は、フィレンツェの公式エンブレムにも用いられており、1830年からロイヤルブルーの名で白磁を彩っています。
